What is EEVA Connect?
EEVA Connect is a grassroots-led initiative that aims to transform lives through virtual work.
We provide accessible skills training, digital tools, and client connections to help Filipinos start earning online — regardless of their location, background, or formal education.
Our founding incorporators are confirmed. We’re now inviting Honorary Members, Program Partners, Event Sponsors or Vendors to help us scale nationwide.
Our Vision, Mission and Objectives
Vision
To become a gateway for aspiring Virtual Assistants—especially in rural and underserved areas—to discover online work, develop in-demand skills, and connect to real opportunities in the digital economy.
Mission
To introduce Virtual Assistance and digital careers to local communities most especially out-of-school youth (at least high school graduates), solo parents, single mothers, Persons with Disability who are digitally able and career shifters, through accessible training, meaningful events, and connections to real clients and mentors worldwide.
Objectives
- Introduce the concept of virtual assistance to underrepresented groups—particularly in remote and rural areas.
- Provide entry-level training, orientation, and project-based learning for those seeking to start a work-from-home career.
- Build a legally registered nonprofit organization to support sustainable outreach, training, and support services.
- Create a job-readiness pathway for aspiring VAs through hands-on practice, mentorship, and client exposure.
- Organize live and virtual events featuring global speakers to inspire, educate, and connect aspiring online workers.
- Recognize the growing VA industry through the VA Excellence Award
- Promote local tourism and community pride by hosting events that welcome international guests and speakers.
- Partner with LGUs, schools, and small businesses to identify participants and amplify community impact.
- Seek sponsorship to provide laptop giveaways at each training event, helping remove one of the biggest barriers to entry for virtual work.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is an Honorary Member of EEVA Connect?
An Honorary Member is a purpose-driven leader or supporter invited to serve in a non-compensated, voluntary board-level role. They help promote EEVA Connect’s mission, build partnerships, and support our programs — particularly the VA Excellence Award and global digital inclusion efforts.
Is this a paid position?
No. Honorary Members do not receive monetary compensation. This role is intended for those who genuinely want to give back and help shape the future of remote work in the Philippines.
However, inclusion in global immersion trips (USA, South Korea, Japan) is part of how we thank and grow with our Honorary Members. We will pay for the transportation, accommodation and meals.
What is expected of me as an Honorary Member?
You are encouraged to contribute in the following ways:
• Promote EEVA Connect within your network
• Support the VA Excellence Award (as a speaker, host, or storyteller)
• Connect us with LGUs or local partners
• Participate in strategic discussions or outreach
• Optionally join international immersion trips for learning and exposure
Your level of involvement is flexible and based on your availability and strengths.
Do I need to attend regular meetings?
No mandatory meetings are required, but we will hold quarterly briefings and event-specific gatherings (virtual or in-person) where your insights and participation are most welcome.
Is there a financial contribution required?
No. Unlike incorporators, Honorary Members are not required to contribute financially to join. You may choose to support or sponsor a program or campaign voluntarily, but it is not expected.
Can I include this role in my resume or bio?
Absolutely. As an Honorary Member, you’ll be publicly recognized on our website, in campaign materials, and may be featured in our events and media as part of the founding circle of EEVA Connect.
Will I be involved in decision-making?
Yes, in an advisory capacity. While incorporators handle legal governance, Honorary Members may contribute insights, recommend partnerships, co-create campaigns, and participate in strategy discussions.
Can I nominate someone else to become an Honorary Member?
Yes! If you know someone aligned with our mission — a civic leader, digital advocate, educator, or changemaker — you can refer them to us, and we’ll gladly review their fit for the role.
How long does the honorary membership last?
Honorary Membership is renewable annually. There is no term limit, but we review roles annually based on interest, engagement, and the evolving needs of the organization.
Can Honorary Members apply for a salaried position later on?
Yes — after a minimum of one (1) year of active engagement.
Honorary Members who demonstrate consistent involvement, values alignment, and a strong commitment to EEVA Connect’s mission may be considered for Directorial roles, which are salaried positions based on available funding and organizational needs.
These positions are limited and competitive. Eligibility requires:
• At least 1 year of active volunteer service as an Honorary Member
• Proven contribution to programs, partnerships, or organizational growth
• Alignment with EEVA Connect’s vision and values
• Availability for increased leadership responsibility
This ensures that leadership roles are earned through trust, service, and time, not sought for compensation alone.
